Dragonica is a 3D action side-scrolling MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) by Barunson Interactive. Development has been ongoing since March 2006 Like many online games, operation of Dragonica is relegated to different publishers for their respective regions. It is a free-to-play game with a Cash Shop The game has been in Open Beta across Europe since June 10th 2009 has implemented the Kundara Content Update during August 2009 and has announced that the “Tales of the Damned” expansion will be introduced during October 2009. The North American Open Beta Test began on August 18th, 2009. Characters created during the Open Beta Test will carry over to the commercial release.

Pirates! offers players the chance to take on the role of a privateer the Caribbean. From here, the game is pretty much up to you. You can get involved in trading, treasure hunting, ship fights, town assaults, duels and all manner of other activities. The game is wonderfully episodic and presents a variety of opportunities to the player based on context. You pick your nationality from Spanish, English, French and Dutch, a starting date, and a special talent, such as sword fighting or ship handling. Once you’ve created a captain, you’re given a ship and a few men and tasked with charting your own course through the waters of the Caribbean and the sometimes stormier sea of European politics.
